Slug & Spike is a tattoo flash anthology in progress, representing the beginning of an ongoing practice. The book (coming 2026) began as a pandemic passion project. When I started making flash sheets in 2021, I found that I love transforming little moments and critters into simple line-and-dotwork drawings.

In the realm of tattooing, I am largely self-taught. I've leveraged my experience being tattooed in different shops across the country, online tools created by tattoo artists, written works by tattoo historians, and the feedback of my local community to create Slug & Spike. As I have learned more and more, the book has undergone many revisions. I am now finalizing a first edition for self-publication.

The prints available here are excerpted from the book, though many have been revised for the final draft. Since I reproduce every Slug & Spike print by hand, slight variations are to be expected, making each piece as unique as a work on skin.
